Information for Student Parents
This information is for student parents who have accepted a Term Time Only Contract for the 2026–2027 academic year. It should be read alongside the Oaks Nursery Terms and Conditions. Non-compliance may result in the nursery place being withdrawn.
The nursery terms follow the Kent County Council standard school year. Fees are payable for each period following your child's initial start date.

Student Fees and Attendance
Where one or both parents are students at the University of Kent, an eligible childcare place is offered at the student discounted rate of:
- £36 per session
- £68 per day
- £3.65 per day for nursery lunches
KentOne card verification
Please present your KentOne card for verification no later than Friday 2 October 2026, or on your child's start date if later. Failure to do so will result in full fees being applied.
Half terms and school holidays
Term Time Only children are not registered to attend during half terms and school holidays. Extra sessions may be available during these periods, subject to availability, at the regular rate of:
- £45 per session
- £85 per day
- £3.65 per day for nursery lunches

Payment Information
Payments must be received by us no later than the 20th of each month.
Salary Sacrifice Scheme members should manage their account and top up payments termly if required.
We accept payment by:
- Childcare vouchers
- Tax-Free Childcare through an HMRC account
- BACS transfer
